Finding Un-Copyright Images From Flickr « Thread Started on Aug 29, 2008, 12:14am »
Alright well everybody wants un-copyright images, no?
Well anyway here is a tutorial for Flickr.com on how to find copyright images for image manips. Now there are other ways to do this, but I find this the easiest and quickest way to find un-copyright images. Or what people rather call "Creative Commons" Images.
Now, when you reach the front page type in the search bar what breed you want to search. I chose that I wanted to search the "Greyhound". Now I typed that into the search bar and hit enter. Now your search result should be filled with images of the breed you searched. Now I scrolled down and seen lots of images of "Greyhounds". Your page should look similar to this.
Step 3.
Now if you scroll up to the top, and next to the search button there will be a button that says "Advanced Search". I have circled it in red. See Here.
Now once you click advanced search your page should look Like This.
Step 4.
Now once you scroll down after clicking advanced search you select "Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content". After doing that click search and creative commons search images will come up. Like This
